Laura talks about her solo art show at the Kilderkin Distillery in Ballarat and shares that the purpose of the show is multifaceted. Acting as a mutual marketing exercise, the show will promote her abstract art workshops which are part of a Visit Ballarat initiative and also bring a new audience to the distillery. It is a collaboration. And art sales are a bonus.

Ros points out that art sales are in fact an external gauge of success. As sales are outside of the artist’s control, it is important to look at internal measures of success as well such as personal development, exposure and marketing content benefits.
