Ever feel like life has shifted from love to fear, from joy to hard work, and from freedom to responsibility? Well, you're not alone. One exercise that can keep you connected to hope, joy and possibility is printing out a picture of yourself as a young child. Pin it on your wall and take a moment each day to remember to treat yourself with the kindness you would offer that little version of you.

Remember how as children, we were told we could be anything we wanted? Why does that change as we grow older? Did someone ever advise you against pursuing your passion, like studying art at university? It's a common tale, but it's time to push back and embrace the mindset of limitless possibilities by leaning in to love and joy instead.

2. Embrace the Joyful Lifestyle You Deserve

Ever come across a post that hit you right in the feels? I saw one recently which said, "If you don't have depression on vacation, you don't have depression; you just have a bad lifestyle." It resonates because deep down, we all desire a life we love. And you know what? It's achievable! The shift begins with acknowledging that wanting a balanced and joyful lifestyle doesn't make you a bad person; it makes you a liberated person. It is time to lead by example and show others what's possible when you find your courage and push past negative thoughts fueled by fear.

3. Your Micro-Tasks for Today

a. Reconnect with Your Inner Child: Print out a picture of yourself as a child and pin it on your wall. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer that little version of you.

b. Mantra Time: Choose a mantra that resonates with you and reinforces the idea that you are worthy of a joyful life. Whether it's "I am worthy" or "One Life," let it be your daily reminder.

c. Audit Your Time: Pay attention to how you spend your time. Are you tapping into your potential? Are you experiencing enough joy? Start making small shifts in the right direction.
